Work With Me

reiki healing

Reiki as taught by Master Mikao Usui is a method of energy work that allows a practitioner who has been attuned to reiki to act as a conduit who can direct healing energy to themselves and others.

A reiki practitioner can either use light touch or hold their hands above the recipient’s body to direct healing energy during a reiki session. Animals are often receptive to reiki treatments as well.

I became a reiki master by studying with teachers Dr. Amy and Chelsea King at Heart Space Holistic in Atlanta and am grateful to continue to be part of the reiki community there.

If you’re interested in receiving reiki from me, I offer distance reiki, community reiki opportunities, and onsite healing spaces for groups or during events.

Reiki Room ATL coming in June 2025!

ministerial services

I attended seminary at Emory University’s Candler School of Theology and was awarded a Master of Divinity degree in Chaplaincy and Justice, Peace-building, and Conflict Transformation there.

Currently, I work with First Existentialist Congregation of Atlanta as Outreach Coordinator: speaking there on a regular basis and creating ways to strengthen our connection to the community.

As a Unitarian Universalist and Existentialist, I believe that each person has unique ideas and spirituality and hope to support folks in seeking their own truth while cultivating relationship.

Among my favorite ministerial work is helping to design and lead wedding and celebration of life ceremonies, offering walking labyrinth events, and providing youth and adult education workshops. I’m happy to work with you to create ritual and learning experiences that help to cultivate meaning for you and yours.

self compassion training

Cognitively-Based Compassion Training or CBCT is a method for practicing and deepening our capacity for self compassion.

I became a certified CBCT teacher through Emory’s Compassion Center as an extension of my work as a hospital chaplain. The premise is that if we can fully offer ourselves self compassion, we will have more access to offer compassion to others.

Developed by Dr. Lobsang Tenzin Negi, a former Tibetan Buddhist monk, CBCT blossoms from the lojong tradition, but is not a religious practice and requires no particular belief system.

I am happy to offer the full Foundation Course which requires a minimum of 8 hours of contact time or a shorter Self Compassion Workshop that introduces some CBCT concepts to your group.
